Due to the diversity of the Southwest region our proposals can’t be complete. Even the direct surrounding area of our hotel offers much more than we are able to describe here.

With a day trip you can reach even more remote areas than those we have choosen. For example Switzerland with its lakes like Zurich Lake, Lake Zug and Lake Lucerne, St. Gotthard, Liechtenstein, Bregenz in Austria, Alsace in France and more.

Swabian Alb

0	Swabian Alb “Schwaebische Alb”- natural highlands, soft hills, valleys, rivers, castles, entertainment, enjoyment, health. Discover for yourself the charm of this vast mountain region. The mountain Lemberg, with 1,015 m above sea level, is the highest mountain of the Swabian Alb. The Lemberg is located about 50 km from here, east of Rottweil, in the district of Tuttlingen near the community Gosheim. At the top of the mountain there is a 33 meter high tower (platform height) made of a steel frame, offering a nice view (in clear weather also to the Alps).

Right next door is the Restaurant and Café “Altes Forsthaus”, which offers a magnificent view over the edge of the Swabian Alb and the Echaz Valley. There is also a Forestral Adventure Park for children from 8 years on and adults from 18 years on.
